 What an amazing, spontaneous moment at the end of the concert!  All the children gathered around the piano with me.  I loved hearing their sweet little voices surrounding me.  Such love.

WOW wow WOW!! Still kinda floating around!!

What a SHOW!!!  WooHoo!!!

I'm SO THANKFUL and feel so blessed and humble and happy from yesterday's CD Release Show!!!  Thank you to all who gathered- and to those who couldn't make it- I feel you.  You were there in spirit!  I am with you.  I am so grateful for all your love and dance moves:)

WE DID IT!!!

After the show and all the hugs were handed out....I took Phoenix to my favorite smoothie place on Germantown Ave in Phila- The Juice Room.  I treated myself to 2 drinks- Blood Love and Che Che Smoothie (with peanut butter, bananas, and nutella).  I bought Phoenix a Che Che too!  We sat together and played tic tac toe until we ran through my little pocketbook notebook.  When we got home, I put my sweats on.  Matt was already napping on the sofa.  Phoenix joined Theo and Ruby as they watched a Netflix show.  I floated around for bit, I think.  I made some tea.  Ate some chocolate.  Ordered a pizza for the family.  Everything was quiet.  Then...I had to call my mom.  We both chatted on and on about the show and told stories and shared moments.  For some reason, it always feels a bit real-er when I talk to my mom:)  Lots of pictures were coming in and texts and I sat with it all with a massive smile on my face!  As I was putting Ruby to bed and reading a marathon of Fancy Nancy books- I heard my phone chiming with more texts.  I turned the phone off and finished the typical night routine until all three kids were tucked in bed.  I read the texts and answered as many as I could- happily!  I went to bed thinking about my CD walking around in someone else's hands- for the first time EVER- other than MINE!  ha!  I wonder and I hope these songs make you smile.

I am in love with my band mates: Alonzo Lister, Mariama O'Brien, Linda Regan, Ozzie Ozugurlu, Jeff Twardzik, Timothy Hill!!  You made the show extra sparkling special with your talents.  Thank you Aikens-Hill family for singing and setting up and being in the show!!!  AND Thank you to all the children who sang on stage!  and grown-ups!

Thank you Nathaniel Lee- the artist who created my CD art!!!!  I hope you received lots of hugs and high fives yesterday.  You're amazing.

And yesterday was awesome because of all of you.  You and your families are gifts to me.  I have written these songs with you in mind.  With your kids in mind.  We are in it together.

I hope you all feel my heart bursting your way- because it is!!!!

Wyndmoor Music Class is Canceled due to CD RELEASE PARTY!!!! see you there!!!

Hi guys!

So, I'm going to cancel our saturday morning class because we are Putting On a SHOW!

I hope you all can make it to our CD Release Concert!!  The drummers are coming!!  The drummers are coming!!  October 8th 1pm.  Summit Presbyterian Church 6757 Greene Street Phila 19119.  woohoo!!

Our lovely saturday morning class with resume next saturday October 15th 10a.
