No Class Saturday 10/7 and more stuff and feelings

Hi Friends,

I'm so sorry to cancel class tomorrow morning but we are attending a funeral.  Our beloved "Pepe" passed away (my step/father in law).  2 days before he died, I got to sing to him at his bedside.  I'll never forget it.  He looked right into my eyes and nodded and his eyes said everything to me.  He gave me strength to sing and cry and say goodbye.  Pepe sang a little with me to a song I sing so often in class- "don't worry about a thing...cause every little thing is gonna be alright."  I feel so grateful to have had such a beautiful goodbye to our lovable Pepe.

Man, life is so humbling.  Stay in your pj's tomorrow morning- I'm hoping y'all get this message and aren't pulling at the red door to get into music class.  I can't wait to see you at class next week- Monday (Roxborough 10am), Tuesday (Mt. Airy 9:30am 10:30am), Wednesday (Wyndmoor 9:30am), and next Saturday morning (Wyndmoor 10am).  Please give your little cuties a hug for me, and one for you.

On a totally different note- because sometimes everything happens at once- good/bad/thrilling/boring/joyful/bittersweet...you get the point.

I just found out a really cool children's podcast called The Saturday Morning Cereal Bowl will be playing one of my songs from my album, "Cardinal Cardinal" on their show tomorrow, Saturday October 7th.  Wow.  I am very very excited and so honored to be on the show.  So, please tune in with your cutie family.  Here's the link:  http://www.saturdaycerealbowl.podbean.com/

*** The Saturday Morning Cereal bowl is a weekly, two-hour program of music for the entire family to enjoy.  This isn't simple kids music.  It's two hours of some of the best family music you've ever heard.  So sit back with the kids and enjoy! ***

Sending lots and lots of love vibes to you all.  Thanks for all your support and smiles and generous hearts. See you next week xoxo

Gina
